Our Story
Back in 2005, me and my mate David Whant kicked off “Ideal Point of Sale” with a simple mission: to help brands show up better in-store. ASICS was our first client and we’re still working with them today. From our base in Stockport, we’ve grown into a full-service creative agency, now known as We Are IPOS.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with global names like Vans, Dr. Martens and Gymshark; delivering everything from strategy to in-store activations. In 2025, we rebranded and introduced our two core business offerings: IPOS CR8TIVE and IPOS Influence, to better communicate and serve our clients across all touchpoints.
We’re proud of our Northern roots and our journey so far. Here’s to continuing to bring brands to life, both in-store and online.

Our core team
At We Are IPOS, our team is a collective of talent that spans across finance, project management, creative and social. We bring together creative minds and diverse skill sets to deliver bold, effective campaigns from start to finish. While our core team is intentionally lean, it’s designed that way so we can stay agile and scale seamlessly, bringing in trusted specialists when the jobs require it. It means our clients get the best of both worlds: a close-knit collaborative team with the reach and capability to deliver on global activations.

Our place
An old converted laundry mill in the heart of Stockport has been our creative home for over 20 years. With its original brickwork and original industrial fittings this place has buckets of character that we’ve giving a modern facelift. It’s the perfect backdrop for big ideas.
Spread across three floors, there’s space to come together, collaborate and create but we also know great work doesn’t only happen at a desk. That’s why we offer flexible working for our team, mixing time in the studio with home days that keep the work-life balance in check.

Our culture
When you work for IPOS you learn pretty quickly a few things … there’s always cakes in the office, everyone loves a good brew, things stop for lunch (even if just for 10 minutes). Most importantly, you learn that we’re a great bunch of people who genuinely care about clients, take pride in our work, and look out for each other. It really is a great place to work.
